As part of the Technology & Applications team you are responsible for the general IT architecture & IT security processes of Discover. For this you assume full end to end ownership of developing and adapting the Discover IT architecture & security in line with the overall IT strategy & vision.
Your tasks:
- Planning, shaping and providing part of the total quantity of IT products to support operations business processes of EW Discover
- Secure day to day IT operations with a strong focus on operational side
- Responsible for the implementation of highly IT-relevant core processes
- Define and optimize process flow for new and existing operational functions systems to a digital era
- Planning and steering of providers (e.g. contracts negotiation, operational control of SLAs, cost management, data protection/IT security).
- Leading projects from the perspective of IT product management
- Notifying and following up maintenance windows or major incident situations
- Being the driver of innovation and to reinvigorate the company and teams

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or business administration with technical focus
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Technology
- Profound knowledge of Airline IT systems
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
- Open and enthusiastic about working with new technology
- Deep understanding and demonstrable experience in operational products and services
- Self-motivated team player, excellent communication skills and project management skills
- Outstanding initiative, ownership, and results-orientation
For this position, we are offering a 24-month contract with the option for unlimited employment.
